SpaceX Suffers a Setback on the Launchpad

The next generation of ISS supply capsules failed to launch this morning. An automatic shutdown sequence prevented the rocket from making history when an engine pressure condition occurred. Of course NASA suffered many setbacks in it's storied past, but this has the feeling of reinventing the wheel. Let's hope they get it sorted out fast.
Annular Solar Eclipse 2012

Did you know that this weekend (Sunday May 20th) there will be an Annular Solar Eclipse? The best viewing in North America will be on the Western\Southwestern part of the United States. I have my solar filter for my telescope ready to go, but from my vantage point it will only be a partial.

Paranormal Investigators Movie

Paranormal Investigators (PI) is my first attempt at making a movie. It was an awesome experience and one that I won't soon forget. PI contrasts shows like Ghost Hunters by showing all the hard and mostly boring work that goes into investigating haunts.
Filmed in 2010, it premiered June 4th, 2011 at the Irving Theater in Indianapolis, IN. PI went on to show at the 2011 GenCon Film Festival. The original PI website is long gone but I wanted to give it a mention here on my blog.
